Subject of work:

The subject of research in this project is to define the optimal technological and technical parameters of manufacturing ultra-fine powders by micronization. The essence of the process of ultra-fine micronization is reflected in the behavior of the investigated non metallic mineral resources in high-energy micronizers by contemporary design. During the ultra-fine micronization of non-metallic mineral resources appears the phenomenas of changing physico-chemical properties, such as destruction of crystal lattice and change the internal energy of minerals, resulting with changing its activities, and chemical reactivity, which is the basis of these investigations. The planned research will develop this project in the following directions:

• Professional analysis -validation of available geology documentation non metallic mineral resources which allows us validation of geological reserves, on the expert-professional basis, applying the latest knowledge in this field in accordance with the latest data and geological research, which will all contribute to the start of the study , to make the development of processing technology of non metallic raw materials and based on that, taking the representative samples
  
• Detailed characterization (physical- mechanical, physical- chemical and mineralogical characteristics) as the primary (quartz, mica, feldspars, dolomite, phosphate, etc..) And secondary (electrofillter ash from thermal power plants, etc..) And ultra-fine micronized domestic non metallic mineral resources .
  
• Defining the optimal technological solutions and new technologies to obtain ultra-fine powders micronized domestic non metallic mineral raw materials (quartz, mica, feldspars, dolomite, phosphate, electrofilter ash from thermal power plants, etc..) In the high technologies such as: construction, ferrous and non-ferrous metallurgy, mining , engineering, industry of paints, varnishes, paper, plastic and rubber, electronics and electrical industry, pharmacy, cosmetics, ceramic industry, refractory materials, etc..
   
• Making the development of economic and technical-technological more efficient and more flexible production, and on those grounds modernization and development of new manufacturing plants in order to obtain ultra-fine powders by micronization domestic non metallic mineral raw materials and their applications in high technologies.
