Research that will be conducted during the project will investigate the most important technological parameters which have effect on the techno-economical effects of production in the RBB and RBM. The main goal of this project is to define the most appropriate technical, technological and environmental solutions to achieve the following objectives:
- Increase ore processing capacity
- Reduce the cost of processing and consumption of normative material
- Increase energy efficiency
- Improve the complex environmental situation in Bor and surroundings
Results of scientific work will be presented through studies, reports, and technical solutions. The expected key results of the project are:
1. Crushing and classification:

Optimization of operational crushing parameters and crusher geometry according to the phisical properties of the processed raw material in order to increase processing capacity and energy efficiency

Optimizing the screening process by defining optimal screen size in order to increase the efficiency of screening

Upgrade of the existing equipment by changing the specific technological parameters and crusher geometry and more efficient equipment utilization.

Increasing processing capacity.

Process costs reduction and energy efficiency improvement by increase of processing capacity, better crusher utilization and upgrade of the existing equipment.
2. Grinding and classification:

By optimizing the crushing and delivering of the crushed product (the particle size distrubution and capacity values should be in the design range) the feed condition for the grinding and classification process will improve significantly compared to the current situation. To achieve this, in addition to the laboratory investigations, it will be necessery to define new grinding flowsheet.

By optimizing the grinding process, reducing the circulating load in the mill circuit and increasing the effiency of the mills it's possible to increase the grinding plant capacity.

Reduction of production costs, consumption of normative material and energy efficiency
3. Flotation concentration:

Increasing the metal recovery and grade in concentrate by developing the optimal technological scheme for flotation concentration.

Determing the optimal reagents dosage using modern and environmentally friendly flotation reagents.

Increasing processing capacity by optimizing relevant technological parameters.
4. Wastewater treatment:

Defining the basic parameters for effective treatment in order to obtain purified water that can be used in technological processes in the RBB and RBM.

Defining the most effective treatment, in terms of technological application, environment and economy.

Development of the wastewater treatment for the industrial trial.
